BIOL521 Field Trip
From Friday 2nd April to Monday 5th April the annual University of Waikato Master of Science plant ecology (BIOL521) field trip was held in Egmont National Park. The weather this year was perfect and 9 students measured vegetation from the semi-coastal forests outside the park to the alpine moss herbfields above the Manganui Skifield.
They are now busy analysing their data and in few weeks time we will post some of their results and interpretation for you to see.
